Commiserations on the man-flu. It's very debilitating, I know. And because women don't suffer from it, they just don't understand...
In my youth I was quite into the current heavy-metal bands like Deep Purple, but as years passed, I started to find it a bit over-pretentious. My wife however, who is 22 years younger than me loves her Bon Jovi, Scorpions etc. in fact all the vids you've posted. The RUN-DMC track though, I think is brilliant. I first heard it pre-release when I had a business in London building and refurbishing recording studios. I was doing a studio in Marble Arch and the freelance techie arrived with that (vinyl - this was the 80s) disc in hand, and proceeded to put it through the 48 track mixing desk and the custom-built speakers in the control room. Pow! Blown away! Heh. Great track...
Nice selection. If you're interested in a particularly annoying tickly cough, that's very difficult to shake off, I can offer you a good example on very favourable terms...
Nisakiman - Definately over pretentious, but I think that adds to the appeal now. It may have done back then too?
